DJ Frank, the benevolent leader of the Los Angeles Carnivorous Plant Society, has long created attire for the enjoyment of LACPS attendees and the bewilderment of the general public. Read on to acquire your very own cotton style icon.

How to get your t-shirt or hat

The LACPS is an inclusive group, but owners of LACPS swag belong to an exclusive stylistic milieu. Here is how to reach that exalted plane:

• Attend a Los Angeles Carnivorous Plant Society meeting and hope that DJ brings a shirt (or hat) in your size.
• Write DJ via the contact form to arrange an apparel adoption in a more intentional manner.

The tan and blue shirts are severely limited in quantity.

The grey shirts are $20 as they are manufactured of a thinner cotton than the other shirts. But the quality of humour is just as good!

All the others have much better quality, and are $25.

Hats

LACPS hats are made of solid fabric and feature a solid Velcro fastener (not those cheap plastic ones that break down in the light after a couple years). It boasts a hand-embroidered LACPS logo above the bill of the cap and is extremely useful defending against unexpected attacks of salt. There is an extremely limited number of these available (only twelve were made) so get one while you can! They are $38 each due to the production costs of this super-limited run.
